About Mitsu
Adv. Mitsu Chavda holds a BA in English Literature, an LLB, and an LLM from the University of California, Davis, specialising in Immigration Law and Criminal Law and Policy. She is a Commissioned Notary Public in the State of California, in addition to her practice as an advocate in India. Before her LLM, she practised in India and developed expertise in International Family Law and cross-border jurisdiction. She also holds a certificate in Sports Psychology. She began as a paralegal and worked her way up to partner. Beyond her legal career, she is known for her philanthropic work and a solo bike ride across India, for which she was nominated for the Padma Shri. She holds an Honorary Doctorate in Humanities from California Public University, the Gaurav Gurjari Naar Award from the Gujarat Cultural Academy, and the Noble Asian Award from the World Record Foundation. She was a speaker at the United Nations World Emerging Leaders Summit in Bangkok, 2022.
